Iniziano ad arrivare le prime adesioni importanti al Campionato Europeo Marathon, oltre che alle prove di cross country dove saranno al via i migliori atleti europei e quindi anche del mondo. In questi giorni è arrivata la comunicazione dallo staff della campionissima norvegese Gunn Rita Dahle con la conferma che l'atleta sarà al via anche nella lunga distanza. La Dahle sarà in Alpago già dal 17 luglio per provare i circuiti che la vedranno impegnata nelle prove continentali. Altra adesione importante dalla campionessa europea in carica la finlandese Pia Sundstedt ex professionista su strada e vincitrice di una tappa del giro d'Italia femminile proprio a Tambre d'Alpago.

The first important enrolments have begun to arrive for both the European Championships Marathon and Cross Country which will see competing the best riders in Europe and the world. The staff of the Norwegian Champion of champions, Gunn Rita Dahle, have confirmed her participation in the long distance. She will already be in Alpago from July 17 to try out the circuits she'll be riding in the races. Another important enrolment is the present European champion from Finland, Pia Sundstedt, former professional on road and winner of one stage in the Women's Tour of Italy – the one at Tambre d'Alpago, to be precise.
