| Saturday, June 10th, at 20.00 : the official presentation of the next European MTB Championships to be held from July 23rd to 30th. The presentation will take place at the Casa della Gioventù in Puos d'Alpago, as in 2001 for the Italian Championships, being a central point of Alpago (province of Belluno), and easy to reach. The evening will clearly centre on the coming championships but will be accompanied by entertainment, musical and otherwise. Short films will be used to introduce the main items in the presentation. Many important guests are expected. The host for the evening will be Francesco Dal Corso. |

| Thursday 27 April two leading cyclists in the Italian National MTB team. Martino Fruet and Eva Lechner, with CT Huby Pallhuber, will be on the "Alpago 2006" circuit. They will be here to make a television report and photos for presentation at the official European event on 10 June which will be covered by further reports. The Marathon circuit, new to this continental event, will also be checked out. |

Start the promotional programme. On sunday 26 March the "European Championships 2006" organizers will be present at the "Granfondo del Montello" in Volpago del Montello (province of Treviso - Italy), while on sunday 2 April they will be present at the "La Prosecchissima" in Miane (Treviso) to give out the new brochure, intentionally realized for the bikers' requirements. The new brochures have bilingual texts and contain information about entry form and participation at the race.
